LOCAL IMPACT

MARC centers serve over 300 at-risk youth in two Jacksonville communities. McKenzie’s Academic Resource Center’s offer academic tutoring, mentoring and developmental programs for students of all ages. The MARC builds the bridge between the classroom and community by connecting teachers, tutors, mentors and volunteers to our students. In addition, MARC students attend “KAMP KENZIE”, a 6-week summer camp providing enriching and fun activities.

MCKENZIE CLUBS unite and mobilize middle and high school students to care for others through volunteerism and charitable involvement. Club members participate in Foundation events such as McKenzie’s Run and Teal Day and help mentor students at the MARC. Also, club members spread love throughout the community through our “Random Acts of Kindness” Campaign. TEAL DAY is celebrated every Spring in March while McKenzie Clubs and student groups raise awareness for an annual fundraising project with a local and global impact.

LIV-N-GRACE bracelets and jewelry were created to help heal while also honoring McKenzie, who embodied faith, love, hope, peace and transformation. Each piece is hand-crafted and unique. 100% of all proceeds go to The Foundation.
